Let’s be honest, there’s a LOT of data in your Drip account. We know all about who’s doing what and when they’re doing it (you know, in the least creepy way possible).
We know that Andy opened your email announcing new products last Tuesday, then browsed your site but didn’t make a purchase until today.
We know Jane abandoned her shopping cart on Saturday night, then completed her purchase Sunday morning after receiving a cart abandonment reminder.
We know your open rates, your clicks, the things people are doing on your site, the winning lottery numbers (not really), and all your Drip marketing activities that are generating the most revenue.
But what’s all that data without any way to see and understand it? Not a whole heckuva lot.
We hate messy heaps of information as much as anybody, which is why we’ve been busy crafting four (4) new ways to analyze revenue data in Drip.
That’s four new dashboards—one apiece for your Account, Email Campaigns, Workflows and Broadcasts—that show you how much money you’re making with every strategy.
(Heads up, since these dashboards were made to help sites attribute revenue, they’ll only show up if you’re using Shopify or the Orders API. If you’re not tracking revenue, you’ll still be tuned into your engagement metrics like always.)
Each new dashboard is loaded with crystal-clear details about the money you’re making and where it’s coming from, so you can optimize where you need to and ride what’s working far into the future.
Keep on readin’ to see each new dashboard and the data it holds.
Account Dashboard: A Full-Color ECRM View
If you’re looking for a quick snapshot of how all your Drip marketing activities are performing, this is the place. The Account Dashboard is the first thing you’ll see when you log into your Drip account, and it gives you instant insight into:
Revenue from your Drip activities over the last 7 (or 28) days
Engagement and revenue of your top Workflows and Campaigns
Performance of your most recent Broadcasts
The goal of the Account Dashboard is to give you an at-a-glance view of all your Drip marketing activities. Only have a few minutes in the morning to see how Drip is doing? This is the perfect place to point your peepers.
Plus, each of the cards on the Account Dashboard is clickable and will take you to the dashboard specific to that card. For example, if you click the card for your Welcome Series Workflow, you’ll be taken to the Workflow Dashboard. Or if you click the card for your most recent Broadcast, you’ll be taken to the Broadcast Dashboard.
Check here daily while you’re sippin’ your coffee (or something) to get a full-color view of how your Drip marketing strategies are working, then dig into the details by clicking on each.
Workflow and Campaign Dashboards: Pinpoint What’s Working (and What Needs Work)
When it’s time to pop open the hood and see how your Workflows and Campaigns are contributing to your bottom line, the Workflow and Campaign Dashboards are here for you. Both allow you to analyze performance so you know exactly what’s working and what’s not for continuous optimization and growth.
These dashboards let you see things like when one email in a Campaign is getting more engagement than the others. Is it getting more opens? Maybe it has a great subject line. Is it getting more clicks? Maybe it has a killer CTA. Is it generating the most revenue? Maybe the offer or the content is super compelling.
Whatever it is, the data in the dashboard gives you a gateway to finding out why so you can replicate that winning strategy across other emails and campaigns.
Both the Workflow and Campaign Dashboards allow you to:
Define the date range you want to analyze
View overall revenue and engagement performance
Easily identify top-performing days
Compare the selected date range with the previous period (week over week, or month over month)
View the revenue and engagement performance of each email or campaign within the Workflow
With this deep dive of data easily at your fingertips, you’ll always be able to know what’s hitting your goals outta the park and which, well, aren’t so you can optimize and repeat with ease.
The Broadcast Dashboard: Are Your Flash Sales up to Snuff?
Last but not least, the Broadcast Dashboard shows you the revenue and engagement performance of each sent Broadcast.
This dashboard is a quick way to see:
Lifetime engagement stats (opens, click-through rates, and unsubscribes)
Overall Revenue, Revenue per Subscriber, and Average Order Value attributed to each Broadcast
The exact content of the email and the people you sent it to
This a great way to see how people respond and engage with your one-time emails about things like a holiday sale you’re holding, that flash clearance event you had, or other one-time, hit-and-quit marketing messages you’re deploying.
Understanding which sales or notices are reaping the most benefit will also help you plan for the year ahead. Maybe your email about a St. Patrick’s Day sale didn’t ignite much revenue, so you could plan to nix that sale next year and find another reason to celebrate.
