In the first half of the year, our focus was to help you nurture subscribers over the entire customer lifecycle, from visitors → loyal customers.
To this end, we introduced date-based Workflows, so you can celebrate milestones like birthdays and anniversaries with your subscribers and send crucial time-based event emails. We also launched a new text editor to improve the email-building experience, 30+ new Single Email Campaign templates to drive brand awareness, loyalty, and reviews, and finally, made some backend updates to make the platform run faster.

Date-Based Automations + Workflow Templates
Sending time-based emails is crucial for nurturing subscribers and increasing conversions. Now, with Drip Workflows, you can:
- Trigger workflows with date-based custom fields.
- Easily set up automations that trigger on a specific date.
- Loop people back into a Workflow based on a specific date.
- Hold people at a Delay until a specific date occurs or is a certain amount of time away.

New Text Editor
We’re rolling out a new text editor in the email builders for better usability. With the new editor:
- The text editor won’t move off the screen anymore.
- The new editor will hide itself when you’re typing or scrolling, so it’s not in the way, and can be re-accessed by highlighting text.
- It’s 10x easier to add functionality, and we’ve already added a new emoji picker.
30+ New Single Email Campaign Templates
We launched over 30 new Single Email Campaign templates for the Travel & Hospitality and Events & Entertainment industries. Now, when you go to the Drip Single Email Campaign template library, you'll see templates for trip highlights, upsell/cross-sell bundles, review requests, customer testimonials, newsletters, and more.
Enhancements
- Made backend performance updates to improve the speed of the platform for customers with a lot of sub-accounts.
- Introduced segment criteria optimizations so that large segments load faster.
- Improved the load time for the Clicks by Link report & clicks panel in the Single Email Campaign Dashboard from 5-10 seconds for initial page load down to ~2s or less.
- On the Billing page, the button to edit the credit card on file will now open a pop-up modal to input the card information.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue causing Delay nodes using "wait until" or "wait for" settings not to retain the last saved values, leading to discrepancies when revisiting the node.
- Resolved an issue causing the Workflow dashboard to fail to load with a 500 error when the workflow contained a split test.
- Added support for the following currencies: Bulgarian Lev, Jordanian Dinar, and Lebanese Pound.
- Resolved an issue causing slow loading times when toggling Workflow email nodes on or off.
- Resolved an issue causing email metrics in the Workflow dashboard to become misaligned due to window resizing or missing data when no OMS integration is connected.
- Resolved an issue causing tracking parameters and UTM tags to be incorrectly appended to mailto and tel links, breaking functionality for tap-to-dial and email actions.
- Resolved an issue causing completed Workflow pages not to display people who had been deleted, despite page numbers indicating they should be listed. Deleted profiles will now be shown in these lists.
- Resolved an issue causing the Workflow HTML builder to not save changes and preventing users from switching back to the Text builder.
- Resolved an issue causing product blocks in emails to not update the product name and price when a new product was selected.
- Resolved an issue in the text editor causing line spacing in the editor to not match the email preview and delivered emails resulting in extra space.
- Resolved an issue with the Loyalty Lion integration causing certain Triggers to return an error message, preventing proper Workflow execution.
- Resolved an issue in the text editor where inserting a link replaced the highlighted text with the URL instead of linking the selected text.
- Added support for Header 5 in the text editor to align with available Header 1–4 options.
- Added missing font size options to the text editor, including size 16.
- Resolved an issue causing multiple follow-up emails to be sent to unopened recipients when a split test email was unscheduled and then rescheduled, resulting in duplicate resend behavior.
- Added support for filtering by product collection in Shopify triggers to align with available segmentation options.
- Resolved an issue causing Site Traffic report data to stop tracking after May 6 and fixed a related issue preventing the report from loading when date ranges were changed.
- Resolved an issue in the text editor where adding a link to highlighted text would occasionally move the text to the top of the text block.
- Resolved an issue causing Trigger data to be cleared when saving a Shopify Workflow Trigger with a collection filter applied.
- Resolved an issue in the text editor where the "Insert dynamic content" hyperlink did not function, preventing you from inserting liquid example snippets into emails.
- Resolved an issue in the Visual Email Builder where adding a hyperlink to an image would duplicate and prepend an existing text link to the beginning of the email.
