February & March Release Notes

This year, we're focused on enhancing the experience in our core product. The first step towards a better experience? Improve things that are time-consuming and inefficient.

With this in mind, I'm excited to share updates that enhance ease of use and efficiency in Workflows, the Visual Email Builder, and more.   

Workflow Builder Improvements

Now, you can build and edit Workflows confidently without blocking out an entire afternoon to do so.  

  • Easily reposition steps in your Workflow with drag-and-drop.
  • Duplicate any node instead of having to rebuild part of your Workflow.
  • Pause people where they are in live Workflows, and make changes without interrupting your customer/ subscriber journey.
  • Zoom in and out, and navigate more effectively with Workflow Canvas Zoom.

Duplicate Email Headers and Footers

Changes made to footers and headers can now be duplicated across selected or all emails when editing in the Visual Email Builder.

Yotpo Loyalty v1

Yotpo Loyalty users can now pull in Yotpo Loyalty opt-in and opt-out events and use them as Triggers in Drip Workflows.

Enhancements

  • You can now re-arrange the 4-column section contents in the Visual Email Builder.
  • The Groups filter now joins the rest of the Workflow List filters.
  • Selecting a filter no longer reloads the Workflow List page.
  • Custom pagination settings on the Workflow List page.
  • You can now edit the names of Workflows inline.
  • Updated styling and design patterns to improve ease of use and reduce Workflow List page complexity.
  • Removed bulk selection of Workflows.
  • Moved the Workflow Dashboard and Edit icons into the Workflow line item menu.

Bug Fixes

  • Added a network error warning in the Visual Email Builder when changes aren’t saving.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing “Products viewed” Segments not to work as expected for BigCommerce-connected customers.
  • Updated the “Confirm Split Test” popup copy to reflect changes to paused Workflows.
  • Fixed an issue causing Onsite submissions to fail when any field contains > 1,000 characters when submitted.
  • Resolved an issue causing Shopify’s marketing preference to be applied when Shopify sends a “Customer created” event even if the subscriber was added to Drip via another method.
  • Resolved an issue preventing pre-headers from being removed on text emails.
  • Resolved an issue causing people to get stuck in a Workflow when a Goal node gets deleted.
  • Fixed an issue preventing empty emails from loading in the email preview.
  • Resolved an issue impacting the post-test results for split-tested campaigns.
  • Resolved an issue with the “Placed an order” Shopify trigger when adding a “Number of items between X and Y” filter.

  • Speed up campaign creation with the ability to duplicate emails across multiple accounts.
  • Retarget people on social media with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads integrations.
  • Give your audience the option to unsubscribe from specific topics (vs. unsubscribing from all emails) with Workflow Subscription Topics.
  • Workflow Decision improvements, specifically multi-path Decisions and Decision nodes based on event properties.
