How do I qualify for a free migration?
We have migration down a science, but it does take a little time to build a personal migration plan and execute it to welcome each new Drip customer. For that reason, our Import Support and Migration options are only available to customers with the numbers of contacts listed above. Our free migration options come with a few limits, but we’ll cover those right away during the intake process. Our Custom Migration service has custom pricing and offers the most in-depth package, to get you set up with Drip.
How long will my migration take?
Your time is valuable, so we do our very best to complete your migration as fast as possible. The exact timing depends on how much data you want to migrate, but we’ll be able to provide you a more accurate timeline once we learn more about your needs. Just select one of the options above to get the process started.
Will you import all my subscribers?
We only import active subscribers that you've obtained from people who opt-in. That means we only migrate subscribers that haven’t unsubscribed, bounced, or been purchased, and generally speaking have been messaged by you in the last 30 days. If you haven’t messaged your subscribers in the last 30 days, we recommend cleaning up your list with Neverbounce or Kickbox, and then re-engaging your list of cleaned up contacts once before your migration.
What if there are differences between my last marketing automation tool and Drip?
Transparency is important to us. We'll take note of any functionality your old provider has that doesn’t translate into Drip, and we’ll make you aware of any of those changes. If you’re wondering about specific features or functionality, feel free to submit a Support ticket, and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
Is there anything you can't or won't migrate?
Our free migration services don’t include custom coding, so modifications to your HTML email templates, custom code on your forms, or any general code changes, you'll need to take care of those changes on your own or hire a Drip Certified Consultant. Also, since we can’t access or modify your website, we won't install forms on your site.
What if I want to do my own migration? Do you have any resources to help me?
