Dynamic Content
Also known as: conditional content, adaptive content
Dynamic content lets one email be many emails at once. Instead of building separate campaigns for every segment, you build one email whose blocks adapt to each subscriber automatically.
How does dynamic content work?
You set conditional rules — if a subscriber matches a condition, show this block; otherwise, show that one. Product recommendations, offers, images, and copy can all swap based on subscriber data.
Examples of dynamic content
Showing different products to men and women, location-based offers, recommendations based on past purchases, or a different hero image by lifecycle stage.
Why use dynamic content?
It delivers personalization at scale with far less production work, and more relevant content drives higher engagement and conversions.
