About the opportunity:

As a Project Manager at Drip you will concentrate on the “how” and “when” of our product development, steering short-term objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. You’ll play a crucial role in our product team, collaborating closely with highly skilled senior product managers and designers. Perhaps more importantly, you will work intimately with individuals across the entire “product machine” (Product, Design, and Engineering).

Success in this role means delivering projects on time, within scope, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

Core traits we look for:

  • Customer-first mentality...we ONLY exist because of our customers!
  • Intellectual curiosity...we truly seek to understand the “why”
  • Data-driven...while our opinions certainly matter, we must back them up with real evidence
  • Innovative...anyone can copy, we seek to change the status quo
  • Experimental...we look at ways to make it work, and then make it better
  • Story-teller...It is essential that we can tell the story of our customer as they pursue their ideal selves so we need to be effective communicators
  • Simplifier...we want to abstract complexity, not expose it

What you will do:

Your responsibilities will include leading projects through the entire lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution and closure;

  • Initiate and Plan Projects
    • Collaborate with product managers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

    • Allocate resources effectively and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Ensure Seamless Project Execution
    • Manage the implementation of the project plan across various teams and stakeholders.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to oversee the project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Continuously monitor project progress against the established timelines.

    • Directly report project progress to our VP of Product.
    • Communicate project progress to the broader organization using the Jira Roadmap.
    • Identify potential risks, escalate them appropriately, and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Actively tackle challenges to keep projects on track and within scope.
    • Accurately maintain and manage detailed project documentation such as risk/issue logs, action items, and meeting agendas using Notion and Jira.
    • Support the testing and quality assurance of project deliverables to ensure they meet the predefined product requirements.
  • Facilitate Project Closure
    • Notify various stakeholders, both internal and external, upon project completion.
    • Review the project’s overall performance, solicit feedback, and document lessons learned.
