About the Opportunity
Drip is looking for AE candidates who are looking to have a real impact on both our customers and our growth trajectory. Drip AE’s develop genuine relationships with prospects, understand their needs and use a process to sell to those needs. We are looking for someone who has a proven past of winning, working as a team-player, and developing processes with technologies as well as soft skills. You are expected to become a subject-matter expert in our product, our customers and the tech stack we use to support our sales team. Drip AE’s show consistent success and are independent at all times in their education and ownership of their processes. 

What You Will Do:

  • Identify client needs and use consultative-based selling techniques to key decision holders to demonstrate the benefits of Drip
  • Close our large deals and tenaciously work to meet those customer needs 
  • Present frequently on multiple calls in the sales process to get VP and C-level decision makers involved and close those individuals 
  • Generate sales working closely with our BDR team and your own prospecting efforts
  • Negotiate price, delivery, and terms to generate profits and greater customer satisfaction
  • Accurately and consistently track sales activities and processes within Salesforce
  • Use Outreach to follow up with your deals and Gong to optimize your processes
  • Become a subject matter expert in our customer needs and sell to those needs
  • Collaborate with our senior and junior leadership teams to bring in large customers
  • Be a brand advocate who contributes ideas, strategies, and logic to advance the Drip brand, culture, and vision
  • Conduct customer onsites to close business as needed 
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as needed

Core Traits We Look For:

  • A proven past of closing deals accurately using a process at speed  
  • Proven ability to hit quota annually and monthly 
  • Possess baseline Salesforce knowledge, Gong and Outreach a plus 
  • A demonstrated leadership ability 
  • Tenacious hunger to win business and close deals
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a sales role in software sales
  • Ability to confidently and effectively speak with prospects of all levels (including CEO's & VPs)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative Skills (create custom presentations for customers throughout the sales process)
