About the opportunity:
A key leadership position within the marketing organization, your mission is to make our target customer feel like “Drip gets me” by intimately understanding the needs of our buyer and cascading that knowledge throughout the organization in the form of powerful storytelling and scalable product marketing systems.
This is a highly cross-functional role, that requires the leadership to quarterback initiatives across Product, Marketing, Sales and Success and the EQ to do so in a collaborative, impactful manner.

About your day to day:
We think about the role as ranging from strategic to tactical with each building upon each other to drive Drip’s growth:
Be the expert on our buyers: who are they, how they buy, how they feel, their key buying criteria and their buyer journey.
Be an expert on our competition: who they are, how they are positioned, and the space in the market Drip best fills.
Lead the collaboration with product management and marketing communications to develop the Drip story (narrative, positioning, messaging) that resonates with our target buyer personas across every touchpoint.
Act as a primary thought leader for the company, including speaking engagements and written works.
Create frameworks and tools to enable product marketing efficiencies (messaging testing, return and report plans, templatized marketing motions that aid collaborative effort)
Develop a marketing plan for the Drip platform in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers.
Coordinate with product on launches of new capabilities, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; coordinate the development of internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
Growth / Measurement.
Assess the effectiveness of all of these efforts, and report back to the business on required changes.
Who You Are:
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience that can span marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, product management, operational roles, or strategy consulting
- At least 3-5 years of product marketing or go-to-market experience
- Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a product’s lifecycle across functions
- Experience working in rapidly growing/evolving B2B environment with a self-service / Product Led Growth selling motion
- Experience with ecommerce and/or DTC brands
